Two-Phase Cold Plates

An innovative pumped two-phase cooling solution for high-performance CPUs, GPUs and power electronics that demand extreme heat-flux capacity and tight temperature uniformity beyond what single-phase liquid cooling can hold.

Our two-phase cold plates use controlled boiling of refrigerant to move heat as latent heat rather than sensible heat, enabling higher heat flux per unit footprint and a flatter temperature profile across the die, in a compact, configurable package.

Engineered by thermal design specialists and backed by correlated analysis, validated test data, and application‑specific development programs, they give integrators a proven path to deploy two-phase cooling architectures with upside for increased rack density and/or energy savings.

Higher heat flux capacity and tighter temperature uniformity than single-phase cold plates, engineered around controlled, stable boiling.

Configurable Two-Phase Cold Plates Across GPU, CPU and Power Electronics Cooling

No Size or Application Limits. Configure Your Two-Phase Cold Plate.

Conflux two-phase cold plates can be fully tailored to your application. Choose the working fluid to suit your saturation pressure and materials-compatibility targets, configure length, width, and height to fit any chip size and server rack architecture, and specify port type, position, and orientation.

With 3D printing, we can also shape nucleation surfaces and vapor channels to direct boiling precisely where it’s needed, increasing vapor generation over known hotspots and redistributing flow across non-uniform chip layouts.

This design flexibility lets us tune local thermal performance, holding junction temperatures down at critical regions, without sacrificing flow stability or compatibility with your existing pumped loop architecture.

Our additive manufacturing process shortens the path from concept to production, enabling rapid iteration of internal channel geometry and faster time‑to‑deployment for new CPU, GPU and power electronics platforms.

The Conflux Core™ Inside Every Two Phase Cold Plate

At the center of every Conflux Two-Phase Cold Plate is the Conflux Core™ – an additively manufactured internal geometry with engineered nucleation surfaces and vapor channels, built to sustain stable, high heat flux boiling for the most demanding CPU, GPU and power electronics applications.

Thermal effectiveness for two-phase cooling

The Conflux Core™ geometry is engineered to seed and sustain stable boiling at extreme heat flux, using textured nucleation surfaces that maximize active boiling area without increasing footprint.

Flow stability to avoid dryout

CFD-optimized vapor channels separate vapor from the boiling surface and route it out smoothly, guarding against dryout and flow instability that would otherwise spike local temperature.

Monolithic, leak-resistant construction for high-density racks

Single-piece additive manufacturing eliminates brazed joints and leak paths, maintaining structural integrity within tightly constrained, high-density rack architectures under pressurized, phase-changing flow.
