We are pleased to announce our achievement of the Aerospace certification standard AS9100D as of 3 May 2023. The scope of this certification encompasses production, capabilities and design process.

Conflux’s unique specialisation in both heat transfer and additive manufacturing combined with years of experience working with aerospace primes enables their customer’s accelerated development programs.

“Achieving AS9100D certification is a significant milestone for Conflux Technology, and I am proud of the team for their dedication to this project over what was a relatively short space of time. Being certified to the AS9100D standard demonstrates our commitment to the highest levels of quality and operational excellence, and is a mark of confidence within the tightly regulated supply chains of Aerospace, Space and Defence” said Andrew Milner, Quality Manager at Conflux Technology.

AS9100D is an international Quality Management System standard for the Aerospace, Space and Defence industries. It includes numerous additional requirements above and beyond ISO9001:2015, and the certification process is overseen by the IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) – an industry owned and operated certification scheme led by several major Aerospace primes.

AS9100D with Design
Achieving this certification with the Design element is of particular significance in the Aerospace industry. There is a very small number of organisations that include this in the certification scope, particularly within Australia. Inclusion of Design in the scope demonstrates that the organisation has capability to develop and validate a technology solution in-house and has established appropriate controls over the Design process to ensure the resultant product is safe and reliable.
