Melbourne, Australia – 11 May 2026

As part of our long‑term succession planning, the Board and Executive Team have been working over the past several months to ensure strong and continuous operational leadership for the next phase of the company’s growth.

Effective 1 July, Dijon Valentim will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer, succeeding Jon Watts, who will now be pursuing a new philanthropic opportunity. This change is the culmination of a rigorous and structured succession process to safeguard stability across the company’s plants, supply chain, and customer operations.

Jon’s 25 years of multi-disciplinary operational experience across complex engineering and manufacturing environments has been the bedrock upon which Conflux Technology’s operational function has been built. His career brought together a depth of technical knowledge and rigorous operational discipline that proved uniquely suited to the demands of a business operating at the frontier of advanced manufacturing.

Over the last 10 years at Conflux, Jon has been instrumental in implementing and strengthening the operational excellence, safety performance, quality management, and continuous improvement culture that define the business today. His operational leadership helped Conflux position itself as a vertically integrated, AS9100D-certified manufacturer and a globally recognised leader in advanced heat exchanger technologies serving the aerospace, automotive, defence, electronics, and space sectors.

“It’s been a privilege to help build Conflux’s operational capability over the past decade and to work alongside such a talented team,” said Jon Watts. “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together, establishing a strong foundation of quality, safety, and performance that positions the company for continued global growth. I look forward to seeing the next chapter unfold.”

During Jon’s tenure, Conflux has grown from an early-stage additive manufacturing start-up into a production company with multi-year customer programmes and international partnerships. That journey, from pioneering R&D through to scalable, next-generation thermal solutions, has established a platform primed for continued global expansion.

“I’m honoured to step into the COO role at such an exciting point in Conflux’s journey,” said Dijon Valentim. “Building on the strong operational foundation Jon has established, my focus will be on scaling our capabilities, strengthening customer delivery, and continuing to advance our position as a global leader in thermal management technologies.”

The Board and Executive Team thanks Jon for his contribution to Conflux and wish him every success in his next chapter.

With a strong operational foundation in place and clear leadership continuity, Conflux remains well positioned to execute its growth strategy and expand its global footprint across key markets.
