At the centre of each Conflux Oil Cooler is the Conflux Core™ – an additively manufactured internal geometry with optimised flow paths and ultra-thin fins. The core is engineered to deliver strong heat transfer in a compact oil cooler package while managing system pressure drop for high-output engines in tight bays.

Thermal effectiveness for liquid-liquid cooling

The Conflux Core™ geometry is designed for high thermal effectiveness across relevant oil flow ranges in demanding lubricant‑cooling applications. Ultra‑thin fins and optimised internal flow paths maximise heat transfer inside the oil cooler without requiring a larger or less packaging‑friendly unit.

Controlled pressure drop for stable oil conditions

Fin density and internal channels are tuned so the oil cooler manages pressure drop rather than compromising system performance. By balancing heat rejection and pressure management, the core supports higher power levels and stable lubricant conditions under representative operating boundaries.
