Conflux Technology is pleased to announce that the U.S. Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) has approved Conflux as an AUKUS Authorized User and added the company to the Defense Export Controls Compliance System (DECCS).

This approval follows the implementation of the AUKUS exemption under §126.7 of the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which is designed to streamline defence trade and cooperation between the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. As an AUKUS Authorized User, Conflux and its U.S., UK and Australian customers who are also AUKUS Authorized Users no longer require individual U.S. export licences for the export, re-export or re-transfer of eligible ITAR-controlled defense articles and technical data among authorized users in these three countries, subject to the AUKUS Excluded Technology List and existing ITAR use restrictions.

Conflux has also been admitted to the Australian AUKUS Community, which supports a “licence-free environment” for certain items on the Defence and Strategic Goods List (DSGL) when transferred between Australia, the UK and the U.S., provided specific criteria are met. Conflux’s membership appears in the My Australian Defence Exports (MADE) system, managed by Defence Australia.

“Becoming part of the AUKUS community accelerates our engagement with key defence customers in the UK and U.S., providing them with the ability to share information and be confident in our security posture,” says Dan Woodford, CEO of Conflux. “Our manufacturing capability is also covered in this license-free environment.”

These developments significantly enhance Conflux’s ability to collaborate rapidly and securely with partners across AUKUS markets on advanced defence and dual-use applications for its additive-manufactured heat exchange technology.
